Blue Labz brand

The Crystal Bolt is our signature: energy, shine and play. This guide shows how to use the brand without losing its punch.

Faceted bolt symbol + the "BLUE LABZ" wordmark in widely spaced Syne ExtraBold, with the Voltage gradient line. The wordmark is drawn as outlines: it does not depend on an installed font.

Clear space and minimum size

Keep clear space around the mark equal to half the bolt height (x). No text, border or image inside that area.

Minimum size: symbol 24 px tall; horizontal lockup 96 px wide. Below that, use the symbol alone.

Correct and incorrect use

✓ Do

  • Use on Ink, Deep Space or a plain dark background.
  • Use the light version on light backgrounds.
  • Use the mono version for one-colour printing.

✕ Don't

  • Distort or stretch it.
  • Swap the facet colours.
  • Rotate or tilt the symbol.
  • Place it on a busy, low-contrast background.

The same bolt on an 8×8 pixel grid, with a Silkscreen wordmark. Use it in retro-themed sections and games, only with the 4 8-bit colours: Deep Space, Cyan, Spark and Pulse.
